Public vs. Private Prompts
When you create or edit a prompt, you can choose its visibility setting.
Public Prompts
- Visibility: Visible to everyone on Musebox
- Discovery: Appear in the Community feed, search results, and on your public profile
- Benefits:
- Help other users by sharing your expertise
- Gain likes, comments, and followers
- Become eligible for "Creator of the Week" and other community highlights
Sharing Benefits
Private Prompts
- Visibility: Visible ONLY to you
- Use Case: Perfect for prompts containing sensitive information, personal workflows, or drafts you aren't ready to share
- Availability: Private prompts are a premium feature available on paid plans

The Community page is the central hub for discovering new prompts.
Trending & Top Lists
- Trending: Prompts that are currently popular based on recent activity
- Top Liked: The most liked prompts of all time or within a specific period
- Top Remixes: Prompts that have been used as a base for other prompts frequently
- Creator of the Week: A spotlight on a community member who consistently shares high-quality prompts
Filtering & Search
You can find specific prompts using:
- Search: Search by keywords in the title or content
- Categories: Filter by topics like Writing, Coding, Marketing, etc.
- Tags: Click on tags (e.g.,
#python,#seo) to see all related prompts - Sorting: Sort results by "Newest", "Most Liked", or "Trending"

If you find a user whose prompts you love, you can follow them to stay updated with their latest creations.
How to Follow
- Click on a user's name or avatar to visit their profile
- Click the Follow button
The "Following" Feed
Once you follow creators, you can visit the Following tab (usually under the Community section or in your sidebar). This feed shows a curated list of ONLY the prompts posted by the people you follow, ensuring you never miss their new content.
Building Your Network
Following creators whose work aligns with your interests helps you stay inspired and discover new techniques. You'll get a personalized feed of high-quality prompts tailored to your preferences.
Activity Feed
The Activity page gives you a pulse on what's happening.
- My Activity: Shows interactions related to you (e.g., someone liked your prompt, commented on your work, or followed you)
- Community Activity: Shows a real-time stream of what's happening across the platform (new likes, comments, and follows from other users)
Viewing Your Activity
- Navigate to your dashboard or profile
- Click on the Activity tab or link
- Switch between "My Activity" and "Community Activity" to see different perspectives

Engaging with Prompts
Liking Prompts
Show appreciation for great prompts by clicking the Like button (heart icon). This helps:
- Encourage creators to share more quality content
- Bookmark prompts you want to revisit (liked prompts appear in your "Liked" collection)
- Surface popular prompts in trending feeds
Commenting
Leave comments to:
- Ask questions about how to use a prompt
- Share your results or variations
- Provide constructive feedback
- Thank the creator for their work
Constructive Feedback
Remixing Prompts
One of Musebox's most powerful features is the ability to remix prompts—creating your own version based on someone else's work.
How to Remix
- Open a prompt you want to remix
- Click the Remix button
- The prompt will be copied to a new draft with the original creator credited
- Modify the prompt to suit your needs
- Save your remixed version
Remix Etiquette
- Give Credit: The original creator is automatically credited, but you can add additional acknowledgment in your description
- Add Value: Make meaningful changes or improvements rather than just copying
- Be Respectful: Don't claim someone else's work as entirely your own
- Share Improvements: If you make significant improvements, consider commenting on the original to share your insights

Profile Information
Your profile is your identity in the Musebox community. Make sure to:
- Upload a profile picture or avatar

- No Spam: Don't post duplicate or low-quality prompts repeatedly
- Report Issues: Use the report button if you see inappropriate content
